Demonstrations in 150 locations across Israel against Netanyahu

Demonstrations took place in more than 150 locations across Israel against the former Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli Maariv newspaper reported, this on Saturday evening, that there are demonstrations taking place, at the present time, in about 150 locations across Israel, against opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, to demand that he not return to power.

It is noteworthy that the former Israeli prime minister said on Friday, to his predecessor, Yair Lapid, that he wouldn’t allow the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Netanyahu published a new tweet to him on his official account on Twitter, Friday afternoon, in which he confirmed that he wouldn’t allow his predecessor, Yair Lapid, to establish a Palestinian state, and return his country to what he called the disaster of Oslo peace agreement with the Palestinians.

In his speech at the United Nations, the Israeli Prime Minister stressed that “despite the existence of obstacles, concluding an agreement with the Palestinians based on a two-state solution for two peoples is the right choice for Israel’s security and economy and for the future of our children”.

This accusation against Netanyahu is the third of its kind against his predecessor, Lapid, in just two days, as he was previously accused by “submitting and acquiescing to Hezbollah, and by giving up gas to Lebanon”.

Netanyahu published a tweet to him on his official account on Twitter, on Wednesday evening, in which he explained that “Lapid, who opposes extracting natural gas from the Karish field in the Mediterranean, is giving it to Hassan Nasrallah”.

The Israeli opposition leader indicated that “Yair Lapid is handing over billions of dollars in Israeli sovereign lands to Hassan Nasrallah, without any oversight or discussion within the Israeli parliament, the Knesset”.

The former Israeli prime minister was not satisfied with that, but renewed his accusation, saying: Lapid is compromising Israel’s security.

Benjamin Netanyahu had sent a message to the Israelis, accusing the current Prime Minister, Yair Lapid, of “submission and submission to Hezbollah, and of ceding gas to Lebanon”.

The leader of the Israeli opposition said, through a video posted on his Twitter account, that he “has a very disturbing message,” explaining that the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, threatened Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
