The Syrian army launched an artillery and rocket attack, mainly targeting the headquarters of the so-called Turkestan Party and the Muhajireen Brigade in several locations in Idlib province, in response to the drone attack that targeted the Military College in Homs.

According to sources in Syria, the Turkestan Party and the Muhajireen Brigade are the two factions that possess drone use capabilities.

According to sources, advanced drones were transferred to these two factions three months ago from France.

The drone that targeted the Military College in Homs, was launched from areas controlled by the Turkestan Party, in Idlib.

According to a statement by the Syrian Ministry of Health, in a nonfinal update, the death toll from the attack had risen to 89 dead, including 31 women and 5 children.

The Syrian Ministry of Health confirmed that the number of wounded reached 277.
