“Daesh” captures a number of European citizens in Syria

A military diplomatic source said on Wednesday that citizens from Western European countries and other countries have been captured by the terrorist organization in Hajin area which is under their control east of Deir Al Zour.

The source pointed to the attack of “Daesh” on the 13th of October, a camp near the area of ​​Al Bahra, resulted in the capture of 130 Arab families and transferred them to Hajin area.

The source told news agency “Sputnik” that “among the hostages in this region there are more than 750 people, including citizens from Western European countries and other countries”.

To date, no further details or numbers or nationalities of European nationals kidnapped by the terrorist organization have been announced yet.

Last July, Daesh carried out an attack on the province of Al Suwayda and the villages east of it.

Hundreds of people were killed and wounded, and a number of women were abducted, followed by negotiations to release the abductees.
