“Coronavirus” developments around the world .. Greece reports the first death, China and Korea confirm the low infection and Washington advises against traveling

The Greek Ministry of Health has announced the death of a 66 year old person due to infection with Corona virus, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.
The ministry said that this injured person, whose identity has not been released, was hospitalized in the city of Patras, in western Greece, on the second of March, after returning from a tour that included Israel and Egypt.
China has recorded the lowest number of cases of coronavirus death since it began reporting on infection cases seven weeks ago, according to official statistics published on Thursday.
The National Health Commission of China has reported 11 deaths in the past 24 hours.
The committee said in a statement that 15 cases of HIV infection were also recorded, bringing the total cases recorded there to 80,793 cases.
The statement stated that there are six cases out of seven who were confirmed with the virus recently and were coming from abroad.
The statement indicated that the total deaths increased to 3,169 as of Wednesday.
The statement indicated that the city of Hubei recorded 10 deaths among the cases that were discovered during the past 24 hours.
The statement concluded by saying that the number of people who have recovered from the virus increased by 1,318 cases to 62,793 cases.
Meanwhile, South Korea recorded the lowest number of daily HIV infections in two weeks, as official figures released Thursday showed 114 new cases and six deaths, according to the official Korean News Agency, “Yonhap”.
The Yonhap News Agency quoted the Korean Center for Disease Control and Prevention as saying that the total number of cases in the country reached 7869 and that the number of deaths increased to 66.
The center pointed out that most of the cases, including 73 new cases, were concentrated in the southeastern city of Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province.
In the same context, the US State Department announced late on Wednesday that Americans should reconsider their travel abroad due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
“The State Department recommends that US citizens reconsider their travel abroad due to the global impact of the Covid-19 virus,” said in a statement.
“Many regions around the world are witnessing a spread of Covid-19 and taking measures that can restrict the movement of travelers, including quarantine and broader restrictions”, statement added.
“Even countries and regions where no cases have been registered may impose travel restrictions without warning”, the statement continued.
The US State Department statement follows a televised speech to President Donald Trump announcing the suspension of flights from Europe to the United States for thirty days.
The United States banned at the beginning of the year foreigners who visited China on its soil.
