Colombian president publishes photos of children killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza
Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Monday shared photos of Palestinian children killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza.
“Humanity must not forget the children who suffered genocide in Gaza,” he commented on X.
“If we ignore this crime against humanity, it will be our children who will be bombed,” he said.
The Colombian President has repeatedly criticized Israeli attacks on Gaza, most recently when he said “I am very angry” about the Israeli attack in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza on July 13.
An aerial bombardment of the tents of displaced Palestinians in the Mawasi area, west of the city of Khan Yunis, on Saturday, killed 90 Palestinians and wounded 300 others, including dozens of children and women, according to statistics from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
