CNN: Who emerges victories at the second presidential debate… Trump or Harris?

A CNN poll found that 63% of registered voters who watched the debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump thought Harris performed better, while only 37% thought Trump did better.

Still, the Trump campaign was quick to declare him the winner of the debate.

The results were surprising, as voters were evenly split before the debate on who would perform better, with 50% expecting Harris to prevail and 50% expecting Trump to do the same.

It’s important to note that this poll only reflects the views of voters who watched the debate and does not reflect the entire electorate.

Notably, the debate audience leaned 6 points more Republican than Democrat, adding about 4 points to the Republicans’ national percentage of registered voters.

Comparisons with previous polls show a clear shift, as in June, Trump led by 67% to 33% in a previous debate with Joe Biden.

However, Trump considered the debate a victory for him, indicating that it was his best debate ever, accusing the ABC network anchors who moderated the dialogue of bias against him, as he said on social media, “I think this was my best debate, even though I was facing three against one!”

The debate that took place in Philadelphia between Trump and Harris was the first between the presidential candidates, and included several topics, most notably the crisis in Ukraine, as Trump promised that he would resolve the conflict if he won the election.
