Asma al Assad X account… Is it fake or real?

Statements attributed to Asma al Assad, the wife of the former Syrian president, have recently spread via an account on X, claiming that she has remained silent on political issues in recent years.

However, it turned out that these statements came from fake accounts.

Another account on Telegram, attributed to her son Hafez al Assad, also revealed the existence of fake accounts.

After examination, it turned out that Hafez al Assad’s real account on Telegram is https://t.me/HafezBAlAssad, while the fake account is https://t.me/HafezBAlAssadd.

The fake account of Hafez claimed to have announced a special account for Asma al Assad on X, and said that the account would move away from politics and focus on the human aspects of her life.

The fake account published a post that said, “Every stage has its secrets, and what was in the shadows, it’s time to tell”.

The fake account attributed to Asma al Assad published, “After a period of silence, it’s time to start again… Hope and change don’t stop, and Syria will always remain in our hearts”.
