A settler was killed and others were injured, Monday morning, in a shooting and run-over attack near Haifa, in northern occupied Palestine.

The Israeli Magen David Adom (the Red David Star) rescue service announced the death of a settler in a shooting and ramming attack near Yokneam, near Haifa, while Channel 13 reported that several other settlers were seriously injured in the double-vehicle attack.

In detail, the Israeli army radio reported that the perpetrator arrived at the scene in a car, ran over a number of settlers at a bus stop, and then got out of his car, carrying a long weapon, and began shooting at the settlers.

The radio station reported that police forces passing by spotted the perpetrator and were able to quickly open fire, resulting in his martyrdom.

Ambulances were deployed to the scene of the shooting attack, in which several settlers were injured in Yokneam, near Haifa.

Meanwhile, at least 16 Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli shelling targeting homes, tents, and vehicles in various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn on Monday, as Tel Aviv has escalated its genocide since March 18.

In the southern governorates, medical sources reported that 10 Palestinians were killed in two airstrikes.

Eyewitnesses reported that a number of Palestinians were injured in Israeli shelling that targeted five parked vehicles in various areas of Khan Yunis.

They said the Israeli army bombed a tent on Church Street in the al Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis, resulting in a number of injuries.

In the central governorate, two women were killed and others injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted an apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

In Gaza City, four Palestinians were killed in two airstrikes targeting two homes in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Since resuming its genocide in Gaza at dawn on Tuesday and continuing until Sunday, Israel has killed 674 Palestinians and injured 1,233 others, most of them women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

This escalation, which Tel Aviv said was taking place in full coordination with Washington, represents the most significant violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the second phase of which Israel refrained from implementing after the first phase expired in early March.

Despite Hamas’s commitment to the terms of the agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to proceed with the second phase, yielding to pressure from extremists within his government.
