Elon Musk mocked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with a meme that he posted on his account on X social network.

Musk who owns X, posted an edited picture of Zelensky’s face in a state of extreme emotion, with the caption: “When five minutes pass and you haven’t asked for a billion dollars in aid”.

Musk criticized the policies and behavior of Ukrainian authorities since the beginning of the War, and also denounced the positions of the US and Western governments towards Russia.

Last Friday, Musk criticized US politicians’ excessive interest in Ukraine’s borders at the expense of the US border problem with Mexico.

Musk expressed his dissatisfaction in a post on X saying, “Why do so many American politicians from both parties care 100 times more about Ukraine’s borders than the borders of the United States?”

One the other hand, Kiev denounced on Monday Musk’s tweet.

Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podoliak responded on X with a post that said, “Any silence or ridicule from Ukraine today is a direct encouragement of Russian propaganda that justifies mass violence and destruction”.

In turn, Speaker of the Ukrainian House of Representatives, Ruslan Stefanchuk, denounced Musk’s post, mocking at the same time his attempt to “conquer space,” after a SpaceX space rocket exploded shortly after its takeoff in April.

Stefanchuk said that the attempt failed within five minutes and plunged the billionaire into major problems.

In the past, Ukraine praised Musk for activating the services of the Starlink satellite system, which has become an essential tool in battles, as it enabled Ukrainian soldiers to communicate in areas where communications were cut off.

However, Musk also admitted that he prevented Kiev from blowing up the Russian Navy fleet in the Black Sea last year by rejecting its request to activate the Internet through the Starlink system to launch the attack.

Musk provided Ukraine with Starlink satellite system services, which gave its army a strong boost, but some criticize his statements related to the ongoing war with Russia.

Musk previously angered Ukraine by suggesting that Kiev give up territory in exchange for peace.

Last October, Elon Musk sent a message to the Ukranian president in which he urged him to avoid threatening the entire world due to the conflict with Russia, amid a series of tweet wars that broke out between the two sides.
