A meeting between Merkel and Macron to discuss the European Union budget and the Coronavirus crisis

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron next Monday in the city of Miesberg, north of Berlin, according to a statement issued by the Elysee Palace carried by the Bloomberg News Agency on Wednesday.
The meeting aims to show the common desire for close coordination between the two countries, as Germany prepares to assume the rotating presidency of the European Union.
Macron and Merkel will discuss the agreement needed for the EU budget and stimulus plan.
The two leaders will also discuss the Coronavirus crisis, global climate change and major international issues.
