A massive Russian drones attack on Kiev while Ukrainian defenses confronted 20 drones

Casualties in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, as a result of a massive drones attack targeting the city, according to the mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
Klitschko indicated that the air defenses in Kiev shot down more than 20 drones heading to the city, calling on the residents of the capital, to stay in the shelters as the attack is massive.
He added that a fire also broke out at the company’s headquarters in the Holoseevsky district.
Russian forces have been targeting Kiev since the beginning of May.
On Friday, Serhiy Popko, head of the local civil and military administration, counted 13 attacks in Kiev this month.
Over the past few weeks, reports of drone attacks inside Russia have also multiplied, in regions bordering Ukraine.
Moscow holds Kiev and its Western backers responsible for these attacks, including the attack on the Kremlin, but Ukraine denies any involvement.
In addition, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the countries of Germany, Finland, Canada and Iceland, his country’s allies, after delivering shipments of new weapons to his country.
