Iran: We attach great importance to relations with neighboring countries
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said that his country attaches great importance to its relations with neighboring countries.
This came in a post by Baghaei on X, on Saturday evening, regarding the visit he is conducting with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to the Sultanate of Oman.
Baghaei said: “Today we are in the Omani capital, Muscat, on an official visit… This is Araghchi’s first visit to the Gulf region following the recent US-Israeli attacks that affected the entire region”.
He explained that Iran attaches great importance to relations with neighboring countries, and that its determined to strengthen trust and cooperation in a way that serves the interests of all the peoples of the region and maintains stability.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi traveled to Oman on Saturday, following a visit to Pakistan.
In this context, the official Iranian news agency IRNA said that Araghchi intends to return to Pakistan after his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
