Former US President Donald Trump said his wife, Melania Trump, clearly admires Russian President Vladimir Putin, confirming that they know each other.
This came in an interview with the New York Post, where Trump explained, “We know Putin, and Melania loves him”.
This statement comes weeks after Trump praised Putin, describing him in previous statements in July as a “strong man,” indicating his appreciation for the Russian president’s leadership style.
Trump had previously indicated, specifically at the end of last May, that he knew Putin “well,” adding that their relationship had gone through “a lot of things,” without specifying the nature of those experiences or meetings.
