Pakistan’s Defense Minister: We stand with Iran by all possible means
Khawaja Asif, in his remarks during the National Assembly meeting, declared that Pakistan would stand with Iran in the face of challenges.
Iranian semi-official Mehr News Agency reported that Khawaja Asif, Pakistan’s Minister of Defense, confirmed during a meeting of his country’s parliament that the war between Iran and Israel is currently ongoing.
He noted that Israel launched an attack on Iran on Friday night, targeting Iranian military facilities and killing a number of military commanders.
Asif added, “Iran is our neighbor, and we have enjoyed good relations with it for centuries… In light of this crisis, we will stand by Iran by all possible means and protect its interests”.
Asif emphasized that Iranians are our brothers, and that their pain and our pain are shared.
He also pointed out that Israel is targeting Yemen, Iran, and Palestine, emphasizing the need for the Islamic world to unite.
He warned that if the Islamic world doesn’t unite today and we remain silent, everyone will be next.
