Hezbollah declares its full solidarity with Syria in confronting the Israeli aggression
On Thursday, the Lebanese Hezbollah party condemned the Israeli aggression against Syria, affirming its full solidarity with this Arab country, which it described as brotherly.
Hezbollah said in a statement, “We condemn these crimes and affirm our full solidarity with our sisterly Syria, dear Yemen, proud Palestine, and their peoples… We call on all free people in the world to raise their voices loudly in the face of this unjust aggression”.
He called on the international community to put an end to these repeated attacks, “in light of blatant American complicity that threatens regional peace and stability and opens the door to further escalation and aggressive wars in the region, amid suspicious international silence”.
Hezbollah stressed in the statement that targeting Syria through repeated raids and ongoing incursions into its territory falls within the framework of weakening the Syrian state and preventing it from recovering, and represents a blatant violation of its sovereignty.
Hezbollah praised the Syrians’ response to the Israeli incursion, which resulted in deaths and injuries, by saying, “This is evidence that the Syrian people’s choice was and remains one of confrontation and resistance to the occupier, and that the spirit of resistance is deeply rooted in the conscience of the Syrians”.
