Israeli Channel 14: An imminent attack on Iran could be the largest since World War II!
According to the Israeli Channel 14 which is close to Netanyahu’s government, reported that recent threats issued by former US President Donald Trump, along with intensive military exercises by the Israeli army, indicate the possibility of a major attack on Iran in the near future.
Channel 14 reported that the potential strike could be the most severe against a sovereign state since World War II, potentially destroying Iran’s decades-old nuclear program.
The report also indicated that this attack could deal a devastating blow to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the military arm of the regime in Tehran, which could pave the way for major internal changes, perhaps even regime change itself.
Iran is preparing to respond… and a real test for the Israeli defense system.
If the strike is carried out, channel 14 predicted that Iran would respond with a massive attack by launching missiles and drones toward Israel, which would present Israel’s air defense system with the most difficult test in its history.
It also explained that the Israeli home front could face a major challenge in dealing with any large-scale escalation.
According to channel 14, the attack scenario is still under consideration, with several options on the table: the strike could be carried out by the United States alone, by Israel alone, or through a joint operation, which is the option preferred by Tel Aviv.
Iran is in a weak position… and facing increasing strategic challenges.
The report indicated that Iran faces increasing challenges, especially after the strikes targeting its allies in the region, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza, in addition to the recent US attacks on the Houthis in Yemen.
These developments, according to the channel, leave Tehran more isolated, relying primarily on its own capabilities in any potential confrontation.
Channel 14 warned that Iran possesses a massive missile arsenal, including the Shahab and Khaybar missiles, as well as advanced Shahed drones, which can target vital facilities inside Israel and inflict significant damage to infrastructure and strategic targets.
The report concluded by noting that any confrontation with Iran might not be limited to a quick airstrike, but could develop into a long-term conflict, with thousands of rockets fired daily.
This could result in significant loss of life and property within Israel and require robust preparations from the home front.
Meanwhile, a fear of such escalation started looming as it would increase regional tensions and raise oil prices.
International fears are growing of a large-scale military confrontation in the region, particularly in light of the ongoing escalation between Iran on the one hand, and the United States and Israel on the other.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned on Monday that his country would respond with a “strong blow” to the United States if it carried out Trump’s threats to bomb Iran unless it agreed to a new nuclear deal.
This comes at a time when Israel is anticipating developments in the Iranian nuclear issue, especially with the approaching date of lifting international sanctions on Tehran in October 2025, which Tel Aviv considers a direct threat to its security.
Economically, the current escalation is impacting global markets, with oil prices expected to rise due to fears of a full-scale war in the region, which could cast a shadow over the global economy.
