The Qassam Brigades posted a video on Saturday evening showing four Israeli female soldiers who were released earlier, expressing their gratitude in Arabic to the Palestinian factions for the good treatment they received during their captivity and for preserving their lives despite the violent Israeli bombardment.

The video, which was broadcast by the Qassam Brigades via its Telegram account, shows the female soldiers in a car while being transported to be handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross, as part of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel with international and regional mediation.

While they were inside the car before the handover, the female soldiers expressed their gratitude to the al Qassam Brigades for the good treatment they received.

One of them said, “Peace be upon you, thank you to the Qassam Brigades for the good treatment”.

“Thank you for the food, drink and clothes,” another added.

A third female soldier thanked the faction fighters who were “keeping us safe and protecting us from the shelling,’ while the fourth expressed her wish that this day would be a happy day for everyone.
At the end of the video, the female soldiers are seen chanting loudly the date January 25, which was the day of their release, near the Gaza beach, where the video was made before they were handed over to the Red Cross.

Israeli army doctors said after examining the released female soldiers on Saturday that their health was excellent, and they confirmed that they hadn’t received any stimulants or narcotics during their time in the Gaza Strip.

The soldiers thus belie previous official Israeli allegations that Hamas had given Israeli prisoners stimulants in the form of vitamins and sedatives to make them appear happy before their release from captivity.

The official Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted Israeli army doctors as saying that after examining the four female soldiers after their release from Gaza, it was found that they were in good and stable health.

The doctors added that the female soldiers confirmed that they hadn’t received any stimulants or narcotics during their time in captivity.
