According to the Israeli media, a reconnaissance drone belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah flew over the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the city of Caesarea on the Mediterranean coast.

The drone photographed the area surrounding the house, which caused a state of security alert.

On the other hand, the Israeli Air Force responded quickly, as fighter jets were sent to the area to try to locate and intercept the drone, however, they were unable to locate or stop the drone.

An Israeli army spokesman said, “The suspicion that a reconnaissance drone belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah was flying near the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea is most likely a false alarm”.

Observers believe that this incident raises major questions about Hezbollah’s ability to carry out such complex operations, and the extent of Israeli security readiness to confront drone threats, especially in light of the ongoing tensions on Israel’s northern border.
