Israel signs the largest defense deal in the history of relations between the two countries with Greece
The Israeli Defense Ministry said on Sunday that Israel and Greece signed their biggest defense deal.
The ministry stated that as part of the deal, the Israeli company Elbit Systems will operate a Greek Air Force training center under a contract worth about $ 1.65 billion.
Elbit said it would provide Greece with new M-346 training aircraft and take over the maintenance of the Greek Air Force’s full training fleet of dozens of M-346 and T-6 aircraft for nearly 20 years.
