There were reports of clashes in several locations between supporters and opponents of the prime minister, who belongs to the conservative movement, the police arrested several people.
Meanwhile, officers clashed with several hundred right-wing demonstrators outside the police headquarters in Jerusalem who were demonstrating against an accident that caused the death of a 16-year-old Israeli settler who was fleeing police officers.
The Times of Israel and other media reported that the young man threw stones at Palestinians.
Police said in a tweet on Twitter that 11 officers were injured in the clashes, while 11 demonstrators were arrested.
