Yedioth Ahronoth: Trump sets deadline for Netanyahu to end the war in Gaza

The Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Wednesday evening that US President Donald Trump gave Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu two or three weeks to end the war in Gaza.

The Israeli newspaper said that one day after his meeting at the White House with Donald Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu chose to highlight statements made by the US president regarding his handling of the issue of the 59 hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza.

Netanyahu said before returning to Israel, “The president looked at me and said to the journalists there: This man is working all the time to free the hostages”.

However, on Wednesday evening, it appeared that the US president has lost patience behind the scenes, working on a comprehensive deal that would soon lead to the release of all the hostages and an end to the war in Gaza.
