On Wednesday evening, the Israeli army warned of a possible large-scale Palestinian attack on the Gaza envelope settlements.

Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that the IDF Home Front Command issued an unusual warning of a large-scale attack on the residents of the Gaza Strip.

Yedioth Ahronoth added that residents of the Gaza Strip have been directed to remain near shelters until further notice.

The warning explained that staying and moving abroad without basic necessity should be avoided.

The Israeli army warning didn’t clarify the nature of the possible attack or any other details about it.

The Gaza envelope area was the scene of an attack launched by Hamas and other Palestinian factions on October 7.

In this context, sirens sounded more than once in the Israeli settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip since Thursday morning.

Alarm sirens also sounded in areas of central Israel, after a missile salvo was fired from the Gaza Strip, without immediate casualties being recorded.

Earlier Wednesday, the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, announced in a statement the bombing of Tel Aviv and Eilat in response to the massacres against civilians in Gaza.
