Yedioth Ahronoth: The damages caused by Iran’s recent missile strike costed Israel over $53 millions
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed the extent of damages caused by the recent Iranian missile strike against Israel.
The Israeli newspaper reported, citing the Israeli Property Tax, that the Iranian attack resulted in damage to about 2,200 luxury apartments north of Tel Aviv, with the value of the damage estimated at between 150 and 200 million shekels, equivalent to more than 39 to 53 million dollars.
Property tax estimates put the damage from a rocket that fell near the Sea & Sun in Tel Aviv at about NIS 50 million, or about $13 million, in addition to the material damage to restaurants that were affected by the attack and remain closed.
In Hod Hasharon, more than 1,000 apartments were affected, with damage to one building alone estimated at more than NIS 10 million (about $660,000).
Restaurants and luxury shops were also heavily damaged, including a restaurant, which was almost completely destroyed, in addition to about 150 luxury apartments that were affected by rockets falling near the area.
The Iranian attacks caused significant damage to 10 different locations, including several military bases.
This attack is considered the largest in terms of damage caused by a single missile attack on Israel since the beginning of the war.
