Why the S-300 still didn’t being used against the Israeli air attacks yet?

Every time Israel carries out an air attack in Syria, many voices begin to express their surprise at why the Syrian army hasn’t used the S-300 missile system.
After both Washington and Moscow announced the defeat of the Islamic state organization, it seemed as if things were over.
In fact, this not what happened.
With both Turkey and Israel on the scene, things are still largely stuck.
Turkey still has its issues in the Syrian north; however the case for the Israeli is a little bit different.
Due to the Iranian military presence in Syria, Israel has been pursuing air strikes inside Syrian territory targeting a cluster of sites, which Israel says are for Iran and its pro-groups.
The latest strike on the Iranian arms depot at the Damascus International Airport on January 12, considered the largest operation of the Israeli Air Force that has been done recently.
“This reflects our determination to prevent the strengthening of the Iranian military presence in Syria and we are ready to intensify such attacks if necessary”, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Now, Israel is trying to exploit the situation to its full advantage – to strike at Iranian facilities and Hezbollah in Syria.
It is likely that this kind of attack will come as a way of “compensating” Israel for the US decision to withdraw all troops within two months, although two main goals have not been achieved – the final elimination of the Islamic state organization east of the Euphrates, and to force Iran to withdraw with all its forces from Syria.
The recent Israeli air strike in Damascus wasn’t particularly effective, although it was more effective than its predecessors.
Here as well as the previous attacks, it is likely that the “S-300” wasn’t used, Russia apparently still reluctant to give the green light to be used for many prospective.
In fact, it is always the case of Russian President Vladimir Putin that Israel has repeatedly insisted on testing his patience.
But Putin’s “Fed up” with the increasing Israeli attacks may force him to give the signal to use the S-300.
However he doesn’t give a signal to allow it to be used, perhaps because Israel in Syria is pursuing its own objectives in the confrontation with Iran, and they’re not planning to divide the country or topple the Syrian president, who’s supported by the Kremlin’s master.
