Wall Street Journal: Kim Jong Un gave orders support for the Palestinians
The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has ordered support for the Palestinians during the current conflict between Israel and Hamas.
The Wall Street Journal based this report on information transmitted by the intelligence agency in a country neighboring North Korea, which is South Korea.
According to South Korean intelligence, there is also a possibility that Kim Jong Un is considering exporting weapons to armed groups in the Middle East.
This information was released by South Korean lawmakers after receiving a briefing on the matter from representatives of the intelligence agency.
North Korea has in the past provided anti-tank missiles to Hamas.
There is a possibility that it may seek to export more weapons during the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, which began 26 days ago.
The South Korean military suggests that Hamas used multiple North Korean weapons during its offensive attack on Israel on October 7, but North Korea has denied these claims and declared them fake news.
