Trump rules out rival Biden withdrawing from the presidential race despite pressure from his Democratic allies

Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump on Monday ruled out his rival, President Joe Biden, from the presidential race despite pressure from his Democratic allies over concerns about his mental health.
In his first television interview since last month’s disastrous debate with Biden, Trump told Fox News, “It seems to me that he’s really staying in the race, he’s cocky and arrogant, he doesn’t want to give up, he doesn’t want to do that”.
In his interview, Trump gave his first detailed description of the CNN debate in Atlanta, during which Biden often lost track of thoughts, sometimes speaking incoherently and looking daze.
Describing his Democratic rival’s performance in that debate, Trump said, “I’ll tell you… It was a strange debate, because within a few minutes the answers he gave were very illogical”.
Trump noted that he deliberately didn’t look too much at Biden while the president was speaking.
“I peeked at him when he was in the midst of giving some really bad answers,” he said.
“There weren’t even answers… They were just grouped words that had no meaning or logic”.
