In a technical gesture with strong political connotation, the Time magazine published a distinctive cover showing 8 red caps bearing President Donald Trump’s famous slogan “Make America Great Again”, but with a striking modification: the word “America” has been replaced by the names of 8 countries where the United States has launched military operations since Trump’s return to the presidency.

The magazine revealed that the caps bear the names of the following countries: Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Venezuela, Nigeria, Ecuador.

This wrapping comes in an escalating context, as Trump announced on Thursday that his country intends to end its military operation against Iran first, and then begin developing an action plan on Cuba.

The cover photo reflects the scope of increased US military operations under the Trump administration, which is no longer limited to the Middle East, but has extended to countries in Latin America (Venezuela and Ecuador) and Africa (Nigeria).

The cover confirms reports that the US administration intends to consider launching a military operation against Cuba, after being convinced that the measures taken against Venezuela and Iran are achieving the desired results.

Trump and his team feel they are on the right track and that everything is going according to plan.

The new cover of Time magazine reads like a miniature map of current and potential US conflicts, with the implicit message that the list of caps may not be final.
