Prominent Journalist David Ignatius in his latest article at the Washington Post, wrote about US President Joe Biden’s policies, both domestically and abroad, and how negatively affected the global order and made it less stable.

Ignatius believes that “Biden has defined America’s goal as defending the rules-based international order, but despite all his efforts, he will leave his goal incomplete and even deteriorate towards the worst, as he has failed to calm the storms shaking the global order and has even made it more fragile and less stable”.

According to him, what was lacking in Biden’s attempts to follow a stable path during the past four years, despite the international turmoil the world witnessed, was due to “the characteristics of his personality”.

He explained that Biden sought to achieve consensus in a world that had become more hostile, and tried to maintain the status quo at a time when people inside and outside the United States were demanding change.

According to him, “Biden was seeking to achieve a normal world order at a time when the international system has become more dangerous and out of the ordinary”.

He pointed out that Biden’s approach had a negative impact on the global stage, reflecting the gap between his political goals and the actual results of his policies.

Christian Whitten, an advisor to former US Presidents Donald Trump and George W. Bush, previously considered that President Joe Biden’s foreign policy had failed and only led to voter discontent.
