The Sunday Times: Poland is training Belarusian militants to prepare for a coup against Lukashenko
The Sunday Times reported that armed Belarusians have been trained in Poland in order to participate later in an armed coup against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the Sunday Times information, hundreds of Belarusian citizens are undergoing special military training in training centers in Poznan, Poland.
According to the information, the organization of these trainings is supervised by some former employees of the Belarusian security services who left the country after the presidential elections in 2020.
The Sunday Times stated that the “BYPOL” organization, which was founded by former officers of the Belarusian security services outside their country, was responsible for the sabotage against the A50 early warning plane of the Russian Air Force – Space, located at the Belarusian Machulishi airport.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had revealed the training of members of illegal armed groups in Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine, stressing that there are attempts to establish extremist cells lurking directly in Belarus.
Lukashenko indicated that the West is preparing to invade the lands of Belarus to destroy the country, adding that the formation of some regiments and legions is in full swing for the subsequent coup in Belarus.
In confirmation of Lukashenko’s words, the former Polish Deputy Minister of National Defense, General Waldemar Skrzybczak, acknowledged that Poland is preparing for an armed coup in Belarus and participating in its support by military means.
“We are preparing for an uprising in Belarus, because it will happen,” Skhipchak said in a televised interview.
Skhipchak explained, “We are talking about a military operation… We need to be ready to support the forces that will carry out an operation against Lukashenko”.
A few days ago, Belarus received a first group of Russian nuclear weapons to be deployed on its territory, in response to unprecedented Western pressure.
Belarus has been subjected for two and a half years to unprecedented pressure from the United States, the United Kingdom and their allies, denouncing direct and shameless interference in Minsk’s internal affairs, followed by the Belarusian Ministry of Defense’s announcement that it will conduct tactical exercises for the Air Force, and air defense at the Brest training ground near the Polish border.
More than two years ago, the Russian Kremlin revealed that investigations with detainees accused of preparing the coup in Belarus showed that preparations were under way for what it described as destructive, which indicates a great danger.
