The New York Times: Small NATO countries are exhausting the possibilities of military support to Ukraine

The New York Times said that the small NATO member states have exhausted their potential to provide military support to Ukraine, and 20 of the 30 alliance members are “extremely exhausted” from military aid.

The New York Times stated that, the remaining 10 NATO members, including France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, increased the volume of arms supplies, but the supplies overwhelmed them greatly.

Western countries are doing their best to find more weapons and ammunition, which Ukraine can use now.

Among the samples of this equipment are the Russian S300 anti-aircraft missile systems, T72 tanks, and Soviet-caliber artillery shells.

Politico writes that stocks of ammunition for heavy weapons supplied to Ukraine by NATO countries have already been depleted from the rest of the storage facilities.

The New York Times stressed that the main reason for the emerging deficit is the massive consumption of ammunition by the Ukrainian army.
