The “Yellow vests” protest throughout France for the sixteenth continues, at the beginning of March, who wants to witness symbolic mobilization movements committed to the end of the “big debate”.

A number of key figures, such as Eric Dreue, Priscilla Ludowski and Maxime Nicole, called for weekend demonstrations on March 9, particularly on March 16 for a large rally in Paris, the day after the “Big Debate” ended and four months after the protests began.

President Emmanuel Macron, who has been excused with all charges, called on Friday for “a return to calm”, stressing that the violence witnessed by Saturday’s demonstrations was “unacceptable”.

The French president has repeatedly called for calm to no avail.

Faced with popular discontent with his policy, which began to protest against an increase in fees before turning into multiple demands, Macron launched a national debate on January 15 so that every Frenchman could express his demands within two months.

Many of the “yellow vests” protestors dismiss this debate as a “farce”.

The demonstrations, which became traditional every Saturday, will take place throughout France.

In Paris, a demonstration will take place between the Arc de Triomphe and the Place d’Honneur. Other calls, including one for Facebook, were launched under the slogan “Yellow vests XVI: Disobedience”.

The group calls for “a return to the beginning by not announcing in advance the demonstrations to restore the spontaneous side that was frightening the government”.

Demonstrations will also take place in Marseille, Nice, Montpellier, Alice, Strasbourg, Nantes, Bordeaux and Toulouse.

In the northern city of Lille, organizers called for “yellow vests” in the region and neighboring countries (Belgium, Germany, England, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Germany) to demonstrate in major cities. The invitation letter on Facebook that has been translated into English and German confirms that “international struggle”.

In the city of Lyon, organizers call for a rally for a “black march” and ask protesters to wear black clothes “the symbol of mourning” for the future of the movement, which “will end in contempt and obscurity if we do not move together”.

In city of Bar-le-Duc, the largest city in Meuse area, an invitation to demonstrate on social networks prompted police in the eastern French region to issue a ban on the sale and transport of “combustible materials and / or fuel and flammable gases”.

In Nantes, police said the “high tension” would appear to be packing up.
