The Atlantic newspaper reported that the United States may withdraw from Ukraine negotiations.

President Donald Trump arrives in Roosevelt’s room at the White House on Thursday.

“As Trump becomes increasingly preoccupied with the US election campaign in the coming weeks, the US president may decide that the Ukraine negotiations have become a political loser for him,” the Atlantic newspaper said.

On the other hand, Ukrainian sources revealed that Kyiv is considering the possibility of sending a direct negotiating delegation to Moscow in a move aimed at accelerating the ongoing talks on a settlement in Ukraine.

According to the Times of Ukraine newspaper, citing informed sources, reported that this option is currently being considered, referring to a possible shift in the course of negotiations that have taken place so far in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

Its noteworthy that the second round of trilateral negotiations on the Ukraine crisis was held in Abu Dhabi on February 4 and 5, with the participation of delegations from Russia, the United States and Ukraine, while the first round was held on January 23-24 in the same city.

The negotiations took place behind closed doors without the presence of the media.
