A doctor who was present during the examination of Jeffrey Epstein has called for a re-investigation into the cause of his death, questioning the conclusion of the New York Medical Examiner’s Office that the late financier died by suicide.

A doctor who examined the autopsy of Epstein sex offender reveals a resounding surprise that could turn the tide on the case!

Dr. Michael Baden , the forensic expert who used Epstein’s estate, told the Daily Telegraph: “My view is that his death was most likely caused by the pressure of strangulation rather than hanging,” adding: “Given all the information available now, further investigations into the cause and manner of death are warranted”.

Dr. Baden didn’t perform the autopsy himself, but was present during the examination as an observer on behalf of Epstein’s family, explaining, “At the time the medical examiner performed the autopsy, we agreed together that based on the autopsy report and available information, more information was needed to determine the cause and manner of death”.

Since then, the revelation of a series of government files related to Epstein has raised additional questions about the nature of his death, especially because his name is associated with world-renowned influential and political, scientific and artistic figures

The release of CCTV footage from the night of Epstein’s death has led to widespread speculation about a mysterious missing minute in the video, sparking theories that someone had entered their cell undetected.

Elsewhere that night, an orange flash can be seen moving down the stairs leading to his distant cell.

The documents revealed that authorities were at odds over the flash, saying it most likely was that of an inmate.

In light of the new developments, Dr. Baden insisted that further examinations should be conducted into the cause of Epstein’s death.

A revised version of Epstein’s autopsy was released in December as part of the Justice Department’s first release of the so-called Epstein Files.

In it, the manner of death of the sexual assaulter was marked pending, and the fields for suicide and murder were left blank.

Dr Baden explained that his professional findings following the autopsy on August 11, 2019 were inconclusive.

However, he indicated that five days after the publication of Epstein’s death certificate pending further investigation into the cause, that decision was overturned by Dr. Barbara Sampson, then the chief medical examiner in New York.

It ruled that Epstein’s death was by hanging and that the method was suicide.

According to Dr. Baden, Dr. Sampson wasn’t present during the autopsy.

Sampson has publicly denied his claims that the evidence points to strangulation, saying at the time that she was steadfastly behind her findings.

Meanwhile, Epstein’s lawyers argued that Dr. Baden’s concerns were in line with their and that they were dissatisfied with the medical examiner’s findings.

“I haven’t seen any evidence of further study, and nothing to suggest a further investigation into the cause of death,” Baden said, adding that Dr Sampson’s verdict had only been accepted.

“The diagnosis was made several days after the first cause of death was given,” he said.

In unusual or highly suspicious cases, it can sometimes take weeks or months to determine the cause of death.

Dr. Biden was one of the first people to raise concerns about the verdict, telling Fox News in August 2019 that the evidence points to intentional homicide rather than suicide.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph, Baden said: “That was my opinion at the time, and I still hold to it… The autopsy results are more in line with a crushing injury caused by criminal strangulation than hanging for the purpose of suicide”.

Both the FBI and the Justice Department under US President Donald Trump have stated that Epstein killed himself and there is no evidence that he was killed.

The official autopsy report lists three distinct fractures in Epstein’s neck: one in the left hyoid bone, one in the thyroid cartilage on the right side, and one on the left side.

Dr. Baden stated that he had never seen a suicide hanging with three broken necks in the 50 years he had worked reviewing autopsy reports of inmate deaths in all of New York State prisons and local prisons: “Even with a single fracture, we have to investigate the possibility of intentional homicide. The existence of two fractures certainly warrants a full investigation… The results in the textbooks never show those fractions, and neither do I”.

Sampson disagreed, saying that hyoid bone and cartilage fractures are seen in both suicides and homicides.

Dr. Baden’s findings in the Epstein case have been rejected by officials, but they still resonate with many who wonder how a high-profile inmate under suicide probation managed to kill himself in his cell.

Although the circumstances of his death have been examined, the actual cause has never been reviewed.

Inconsistencies in the 3 million documents related to the sex offender, which were revealed on 30 January, have raised questions about the cause of his death.

There was a statement from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office regarding Epstein’s death dated August 9, 2019 — the day before he was found dead in his cell.

The Justice Department said the date was an unfortunate typographical error.

Guards on duty also failed to check on Epstein for hours, despite being asked to do so every 30 minutes, while two cameras near his cell either didn’t work or failed to record.

According to the official report, the gallows made of an orange bed sheet that wasn’t removed from the scene was later found to be not the one used to cause Epstein’s death.

Baden said he noticed this during an autopsy and suspected at the time that the gallows wasn’t compatible with [the injury],” adding, “It wasn’t as soft as a sheet, the marks [on Epstein’s neck] required a different type of material”.

He also pointed to the unconventional handling of the crime scene, saying crucial evidence had been lost due to mistakes made in the handling of Epstein’s body.

He said that the body was taken to the infirmary, and the guards refused to say how it was found, which he claimed was a very unusual procedure.

According to Dr. Baden, the time for Epstein’s death was lost.

He argues that this evidence could have categorically helped to rule out that his death was a homicide.
