Syrian army oversees major oil fields and “US convoy routes in north east Syria

The Syrian army on Thursday completed its deployment along the Syrian-Turkish border to the north-eastern Al Malikiyah region, overseeing the oil fields and wells in Rumailan and approaching the Yonisiya crossing “Simalka” with the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which is used to enter and leave US forces to Syrian territory.
According to Russian news agency Sputnik correspondent in Al Hasakah province, Syrian Army forces have completed the deployment along the northern border of Al Hasakeh province with Turkey from Al Jawadia town to Ain Dewar area to the far north of Al Hasakah province in Al Malikiyah city on the Syrian-Turkish border triangle.
The correspondent added that the border guards in the Syrian Army “Al Hajanah” were stationed in 6 new points: Al Marijat, Al Bustan, Western Swaydia, Shamsiya, Hob Al Hawa and Ain Dewar with a length of about 60 km on the border with Turkey.
In addition to the 60 km in which the Syrian army deployed from Qamishli to the town of Jawadia and enter the oil field “Malabas” after an absence of 7 years.
The most important areas of Hasaka oil
The Al Malikiyah area in the far north-east of Syria is considered one of the most important oil areas in Al Hasakah governorate and contains a large number of oil and gas wells within the Directorate of Oil Fields Al Hasakah (Rumailan Fields), the Al Swaydia Power Plant and the Al Swaydia Gas Plant.
As well as the presence of the Tunisia crossing “Simalka” illegal river with the Kurdistan region of Iraq, a floating bridge on the Tigris River and used by US forces and allies in the aggression on Syria, the introduction of weapons and military equipment.
It has also been used by the Kurdish factions for years to control the region in commercial and economic operations and in smuggling and trafficking of Syrian oil.
The reporter pointed out that the two barrels of oil fields in the area of Malikiyah is under the control of US forces supporting the “SDF”, which was the production of crude oil to more than 164 thousand barrels of crude oil per day before 2013.
Oil field pipelines linking the Hasakah governorate with Homs and Banias refineries have been subjected to sabotage operations that have led to the interruption of oil supplies to Syria and to ISIS and SDF control over the Syrian oil wealth.
The city of Al Malikiyah is located in the far north-east of Syria, 190 km from the city of Al Hasakah, 90 km from Qamishli, and about 900 km from the capital Damascus.
It is strategically located in the border triangle between Syria, Iraq and Turkey.
It is bordered by Turkey to the north, east and Iraq to the south and southeast.
It is followed by Jawadiyah and Al Yarubiya, which includes the second border gate with Iraq after the border crossing in Albukamal in Deir Ezzor countryside.
