Sabah: The recently arrested Mossad cell is linked to Muhammad Dahlan

Turkish Sabah newspaper said that the prominent Palestinian figure who was dismissed from Fatah movement, Muhammad Dahlan, was involved in recent events, as authorities in 8 Turkish authorities arrested suspects of spying for the Israeli Mossad.

Sabah newspaper explained that Dahlan was involved in a spy network led by Mossad, which had a major mission in targeting foreign figures living in Türkiye.

Dahlan’s name had been included on Türkiye’s terrorism lists since 2019, and Sabah reported that he was in close contact with some of the suspects who were arrested in Türkiye earlier this week.

The Turkish authorities arrested 34 people, including women and citizens of Arab and Turkish nationalities, on charges of spying for the Israeli Mossad.

Later, a group of detainees were released on bail and placed under surveillance, while procedures began to transfer others to the prosecution for trial.

Turkey accuses Dahlan of participating in the failed coup attempt in 2016, and colluding with the Fethullah Gülen group, classified as a terrorist organization.

His name is also allegedly linked to a spy network in Türkiye and conspiring to destabilize the country in cooperation with Israel.
