Politico reported that the United States has halted the delivery of some anti-aircraft missiles and other precision-guided munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about low stockpiles.

The Pentagon has suspended the delivery of some air defense missiles and other precision-guided munitions to Ukraine due to concerns about declining US weapons stockpiles.

The decision was made by Defense Policy Director Elbridge Colby, after a review of the Pentagon’s ammunition depots raised concerns about a decrease in the total number of artillery shells, anti-aircraft missiles, and precision-guided munitions.

The decision was made in early June to withhold some aid promised to Kyiv by the administration of former President Joe Biden, but the decision hasn’t yet taken effect.

It’s worth noting that the Financial Times reported earlier that Ukrainian forces could run out of resources within six months, explaining that the situation on the front is worrying a number of NATO leaders, who fear a significant deterioration by the fall.
