Israeli media confirmed, Saturday, that “Russian-Iranian cooperation is worrying to Israel, and there is no way to stop it after expressing it in several areas”.

“I don’t think there is a way to stop Russian-Iranian cooperation,” said Ehud Yaari, a commentator on Arab affairs for Israel’s Channel 12.

He added, “Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi spoke 4 times with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and this doesn’t happen between countries in such a short period of time without a time of crisis”.

Earlier, Israeli media pointed out that “the pictures of President Putin’s arrival in Tehran and his meeting with Supreme Leader Khamenei are never liked by Israel, and they indicate a not good regional development”.

The Israeli media explained that “Iran also partially joined the Russian (Mir) marketing and financial system, as they allowed the Russians to transport goods to India through Iranian territory and circumvent the sanctions.

And there are a series of other areas where we see the Russian-Iranian rapprochement succeeded in preventing Erdogan from carrying out an operation he wanted to carry out in northern Syria”.

A few days ago, the Russian space agency “Roscosmos” launched an Iranian satellite carrying a Russian Soyuz-2.1B missile from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Earlier, the Iranian Oil Company and Russia’s Gazprom signed a memorandum of understanding in the energy field, which includes Moscow’s investment of $40 billion in developing the Kish and North Pars fields, increasing the production of the South Pars field, and developing 6 Iranian oil fields.

This comes in conjunction with great tension between Russia and Israel against the background of reports from Moscow to stop the work of the Jewish Agency.

Despite the Israeli effort to prevent this, the meeting that took place on the first of August between “the Israeli delegation and representatives of the Ministry of Justice in Moscow to deal with the file of the Jewish Agency (Hasoknot HaYehudit) ended without result”.

As for the Iranian nuclear agreement, chances of signing a nuclear agreement have greatly increased after the Americans and Europeans made two important concessions, Yaari said.

Yaari explained that “the first concession was about the continuation of the IAEA’s investigation into Iran’s military activity,” noting that “the second concession is to allow the Europeans and others to deal with the Revolutionary Guards despite the continuation of US sanctions on it”.

There is concern inside Israel about returning to the nuclear agreement.
