Israel targets Yemeni Houthis targets
The Israeli army said that its forces targeted military sites belonging to the Ansar Allah group in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, on Sunday, including those located near the presidential palace, in addition to power stations and a fuel storage facility.
The Israeli military launched new airstrikes on Sana’a on Sunday, in the latest aggression against Yemen.
The airstrikes targeted the oil company’s station on 60th Street in central Sana’a and the Haiz power station to its south.
The Israeli attack of the oil company’s station in Sana’a resulted in six deaths and 86 injuries, according to a preliminary toll from the Houthi-run Ministry of Health.
According to the Israeli army, Israeli aircraft carried out simultaneous attacks against what it claimed were “Houthi terrorist infrastructure” in Yemen.
The attacks came shortly after the results of an Israeli military investigation were revealed, concluding that Ansar Allah had fired a rocket carrying a fissionable warhead at central Israel for the first-time last Friday.
The Israeli army officially announced that it targeted the Yemeni presidential palace and two power stations in Sana’a, which are controlled by the Ansar Allah group (Houthis).
