Iran to send its new aircraft fighter “Kawthar” and its new air defense systems “Bavar” to Syria

Iran plans to supply the Syrian army with its newly made air defense system and the new jet fighter.
According to media reports from Iran, that the Islamic Republic of Iran will send its jet fighters “Kawther” and the air defense system “Bavar 373”.
The Iranian made “Bavar 373” air defense system which is similar to the Russian made S-300 defense system.
It is not yet clear what dates of delivery and how many unites that will be provided to Syria.
Last week, the Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami visited Syria and met his counterpart Ali Abdullah Ayoub.
He also met with Syrian President Bashar Assad.
An agreement on technical military cooperation was signed between the two army.
On the 21st of August 2018, Iran show off the capabilities of its fighter jet “Kawthar”.
The Iranian aircraft belongs to the fourth generation of jet fighters, equipped with a ballistic system and multi-tasked radar.
It’s the first aircraft to be fully developed and manufactured on the Iranian’s territory.
The military reports indicate that Iran is mutually beneficial cooperation, such as many countries do.
Syria is Iran’s closest ally, and during the war in Syria Iran provided all kind of support to the Syrian Government, with the regional interests of the country are concentrated there.
Tehran is ready to build relations with Syria, with one of the components of this relationship is technical military cooperation.
There is simply a desire to send their own equipment and build long-term relationships that allow the training of specialists on their equipment and the delivery of the required ammunition.
Particularly noteworthy is the signing of an agreement on military cooperation amid reports of the next provocation of the Western coalition in Idlib.
It was reported that the United States had drawn up a preliminary list of Syrian facilities, which, according to Washington, were linked to the production of chemical weapons, which could be hit.
