Haaretz: Official Israeli websites are being hacked as confidential and sensitive information were hacked

Haaretz newspaper confirmed that international hackers had penetrated Israeli security websites and leaked information from them at the beginning of this April, which was posted on Telegram channels, through which they threatened to expose Israel’s crimes and present its international accomplices to the world.

Haaretz said: “Thousands of documents have already been published on the site, which they claim were obtained by hacking systems belonging to the Ministry of Defense and National Insurance, and recently, systems related to the Ministry of Justice and the nuclear research facility in Dimona were also hacked”.

The Israeli newspaper added: “The Ministry of Defense confirmed this week that non-sensitive websites had been hacked”.

however, Haaretz viewed some of the leaked materials reveals that they were taken from the administrative portals of the Ministry of Defense, and included identifying information for the ministry’s employees, tenders, and information about the technological systems of the Israeli army.

According to Haaretz, this includes details about armored vehicles, engineering plans, technical information about satellite imaging systems, and identifying information about soldiers and the units in which they serve.

The so called “Net Hunter” on Telegram displays many documents that it says it obtained from the Israeli Ministry of Defense website.

It indicated that it aims to establish an electronic court for Israeli officials, calling on Internet hackers to join.

Net Hunter said in an editorial on Telegram on April 2, “The electronic court is a court in which criminals are charged, and today they are the Zionists who commit the brutal murder of innocent Palestinian children and women, and now the infiltrators are responsible for their punishment”.

“With this, we issue judgments against the Zionist criminals and we also call on all freedom-seeking cyber pirates in the world to join us in the campaign to punish these criminals”.

Net Hunter continued, “In order to support Palestine, court enforcers have the right to negotiate the freedom of Palestinian prisoners in exchange for obtaining information”.

On April 4, the Net Hunter announced through a post on the same account that the Israeli Ministry of Defense was hacked, and published dozens of documents.

“The documents include: contracts concluded between the Israeli Ministry of Defense and contractors, and contracts between the Ministry and foreign countries including contract details, contract date, delivery date, contract correspondence, total contract amount, contract description, and others”.

According to Net Hunter, it also includes confidential information about the Israeli Ministry of Defense, military plans and technical drawings of the Ministry of Defense, a list of the Ministry’s workforce, its databases, and information about the wounded and veterans”.

Net Hunter said in another post, “Hacking the Israeli Ministry of Defense and publishing part of its documents is a response to part of these crimes… We’re revealing these crimes and presenting Israel’s allies and accomplices to the world”.

The Net Hunter called for the release of 500 Palestinian prisoners before all the documents of all countries claiming human rights slogans are revealed and their lies are exposed”.

In this context, the site threatened to sell all secret Ministry of Defense documents, the cooperation agreement of other countries with Israel, senior Israeli officers, Israeli army manpower data and other important information to pro-Palestinian countries, and to disclose part of them to the world population.
