The Financial Times reported that US President Donald Trump has ordered US administrations to prepare to share intelligence with Ukraine that could help it launch strikes deep inside Russia.

The Financial Times reported, citing informed sources, that “Trump ordered the ministries to prepare to share intelligence information”.

Financial Times pointed out that the final decision hasn’t yet been announced.

Regarding Tomahawk missiles, the newspaper noted that “some in Trump’s inner circle aren’t confident that Tomahawk missiles will significantly alter the balance of power on the battlefield in Ukraine”.

The Financial Times also stressed that Trump “continues to oppose the use of US taxpayer funds to aid Ukraine, preferring that NATO allies purchase weapons from Washington and then supply them to Kyiv”.

The Financial Times added that “Washington is also seeking to push its NATO allies to expand intelligence support to Ukraine”.

The Financial Times confirmed that Britain is already helping Kyiv carry out strikes deep inside Russian territory.

Donald Trump announced in early August that the United States had agreed with the European Union to send American weapons to Kyiv, with Europe bearing the cost.

The supplies will include not only missiles but also Patriot batteries.
