Two Israeli army divisions attack the outskirts of Gaza City as part of the occupation operation

Two Israeli army divisions launched attacks on the outskirts of Gaza City on Wednesday, implementing the plan to occupy it and as part of a war of genocide that has been ongoing for about 23 months.

The Israeli army said in a statement: “In the northern Gaza Strip, forces from the 162nd Division continue fighting in Jabalia and on the outskirts of Gaza City”.

He continued, “In parallel, the 99th Division forces are working on the outskirts of Gaza City to monitor and destroy, above and below ground military structures”.

The statment added, “In the last few hours, our forces attacked and destroyed several sites that posed a threat to them”.

On August 8, the Israeli government approved a plan proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to gradually reoccupy the entire Gaza Strip, starting with Gaza City.

Regarding the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said on Wednesday that “36th Division forces are operating around the city of Khan Yunis”.

The Israeli army has killed seven Palestinians and wounded others since dawn on Wednesday, while carrying out demolition operations targeting civilian homes and property.

In Gaza City, two Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the al daraj neighborhood in the city center.

Nine Palestinians were also injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent near the Sheikh Radwan cemetery north of the city.

In the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians, one of them a child, were killed in an airstrike targeting tents housing displaced people in the Qadisiya camp, west of Khan Yunis.

Three Palestinians, including a child and a girl, were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a tent housing displaced people in the Asdaa area, north of Khan Yunis.
