Six Syrian soldiers were killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Damascus countryside

Six Syrian soldiers were killed on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting the city of al Kiswah in the Damascus countryside, in the south of the country.

According to the Syrian media, six members of the Syrian Army were killed as a result of Israeli drone attacks (Tuesday) near the city of al Kiswah in the Damascus countryside.

This escalation comes after one person was killed on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in the village of Taranja in the northern Quneitra countryside, south of the country, according to the Syrian offical News Agency (SANA).

The Israeli army also invaded the town of Suwaysa in the southern Quneitra countryside at dawn on Tuesday, arresting a young man, as residents confronted the invading forces.

For seven months, the Israeli army has occupied Mount Hermon and a 15-kilometer-wide security zone in some areas of southern Syria.
