Iran launches ballistic missiles at Israel reaching all areas
Friday evening, Iranian missile attacks started on Israel in response to strikes carried out by Israel in the night before.
Israel announced that Iran had launched a second batch of missiles, estimated at dozens, towards it.
This announcement came shortly after a Iranian televised address by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in which he affirmed that “our armed forces are ready, and behind them stand the country’s officials and all the people… God willing, the Islamic Republic will defeat the Zionist regime”.
Khamenei stressed on Friday evening that Israel had committed a grave mistake with its large-scale attack on Iran, vowing that it would lead to its destruction.
For its part, the Israeli army announced on Friday that it had detected missile launches from Iran toward Israel, and ordered all residents to head to shelters and fortified rooms.
