Iran’s Supreme Leader first comment on the Israeli attack
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, vowed a strong response on Friday to Israel following its violent attack on several areas in the Islamic Republic.
Khamenei said in a message, “O’ great Iranian people! The Zionist regime committed a crime at dawn today, extending its sinful and blood-stained hand into our beloved country, revealing its malicious nature more than ever by targeting residential areas”.
He added, “This entity must expect severe punishment… The powerful hand of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces won’t leave it alone, God willing”.
Khamenei continued, “In the enemy’s attacks, a number of commanders and scholars were martyred, and their successors and colleagues will immediately continue their duties, God willing”.
Khamenei stressed, “through this criminal act, the Zionist entity has drawn a bitter and painful fate for itself, which it will inevitably meet”.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei posted on X in Hebrew, issuing a threat to Israel following the attack launched early Friday morning, which resulted in the deaths of Iranian officials.
Khamenei wrote, “The Zionist entity should expect severe punishment… The powerful hand of the Islamic Republic’s military might won’t escape it”.
He added, “This criminal entity has plotted for itself a bitter fate and a future filled with torment”.
In a related development, an Iranian security source confirmed that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is well and he’s closely monitoring the situation.
