A new Israeli army incursion in new areas in Mount Hermon in southern Syria
The Israeli army announced that its forces entered new positions in the Mount Hermon area in southwestern Syria over the past week.
The Israeli army said in a statement, “Over the past week, forces from the 810th Brigade, under the command of the 210th Division, carried out operations in new areas on the Syrian summit of Mount Hermon, with the aim of disrupting threats and confiscating enemy equipment in the area”.
He added, “During the operation, forces from the 810th Brigade and the Yahalom Unit discovered military infrastructure, including military equipment and an explosive device weighing dozens of kilograms”.
He said, “IDF forces will continue their operations against terrorist infrastructure on Mount Hermon, to ensure the security of Israeli citizens and residents of the Golan Heights”.
