The controversial Iraqi refugee for burning the Quran was shot dead in his apartment in Sweden
The infamous controversial Iraqi refugee, Salwan Momika was shot dead in his apartment in Sweden, as Swedish police announced his death.
Momika, had sparked waves of anger in the Arab and Islamic world after he publicly burned copies of the Qur’an in front of cameras, several times.
According to the Swedish police, as the judiciary and local media confirmed that Momika was shot dead inside his apartment in the capital, Stockholm.
According to media reports, a gunman broke into his apartment and shot him.
Momika was tried on charges of inciting hatred against an ethnic group, as in February last year, the Swedish Migration Court approved the decision to deport him from the country, and in March of the same year, Momika said that he had left Sweden for Norway to seek asylum there.
