Elon Musk mocks recent comments made by the Ukrainian president
Elon Musk considered, via X, that Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has a “wonderful sense of humor” after his statements about US President-elect Donald Trump.
Musk shared part of Zelensky’s interview with a Ukrainian channel in which he avoided answering a question about whether Trump had asked Kyiv to sit down at the negotiating table.
Zelensky stressed that he had told Trump and Western leaders that putting Ukraine in a “sit and listen” position wouldn’t work.
Musk commented on Zelensky’s suggestion that Trump wouldn’t be able to force Ukraine to the negotiating table, saying that he “has a great sense of humor”.
Trump promised during his election campaign that he would be able to resolve the conflict in Ukraine through a negotiated political settlement within one day after winning the presidential elections, while Russia saw that the Ukrainian crisis was more complex and could not be resolved in this simple way.
Although there have been many statements and media briefings about Trump’s plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, none of them have been officially endorsed by Trump, who is currently busy forming his government and members of the White House administration for his next term.
