Russian missile expert: The Iranian attack on Israel was a well-crafted game
According to a retired Russian naval officer, and a missile export, Iran has carried out a mock strike on October 1, not a real one.
As soon as videos of the attack emerges, dozens of the Iranian missiles who flew over Israeli cities, weren’t as they have explained.
“Hypersonic missiles fly with the warhead separated, the entire combat unit explodes and is destroyed,” Konstantin Sivkov, deputy head of the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences.
He added, “It’s clear that the missile that fell is an empty one, intended only to demonstrate the determination to strike, and it is simple and old, so that Israel wastes air defense missiles on it.”
According to the Russian expert, Iran didn’t intend to cause serious harm to Israel, but it sought to achieve two other goals.
The first was to prove that the strike was serious… This way Tehran saved face in the Arab world;
The second, Iran showed that it didn’t give Israel and the United States a reason to launch a military operation against it… This is a very delicate and beautiful game.
Iran doesn’t want to start a large-scale war because that would draw many other countries into the conflict and destabilize the entire region.
Meanwhile, the situation is very difficult for the Israeli authorities, according to Sivkov.
“Benjamin Netanyahu needs a war to survive and justify the next new round of escalation… The Americans understand this very well, but they don’t want this crazy conflict in the Middle East to develop so that the United States has to play a major role in it… Moreover, if the United States enters the conflict, it will be the Democratic Party that will do it, and the chances of its candidate winning will decrease.
