US Secretary of State suddenly cancels his visit to the region as sources reveal that Iran has postponed its attack on Israel within the next 24 hours
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken postponed his planned visit to the Middle East Tuesday night, due to the state of uncertainty regarding a possible Iranian attack.
Washington indicates that an Iranian attack isn’t expected to occur within the next 24 hours; according to what the Israeli website reported from two officials in the US administration.
The US President Joe Biden’s advisor for Middle East affairs, Brett McGurk, arrived in Cairo, and is expected to head to Doha after holding talks there.
He said that the US envoy to the region, Amos Hochstein, will head to Beirut today to hold talks with Lebanese officials in an attempt to prevent escalation with Israel.
